We were initially equipped with the Douglas B-26. We Were at Hill AFB after completing training at Randolph AFB. The "A" models were at Shaw(?). Col Ford was our commander. My co was David B. Gammons who later was with the U-2 group at Del Rio. I was a back seater then for Ralph S. Johnsen. We later moved to a new base at Blythville ARK. I later transferred to Malden AB MO for pilot training.
